Miss Island Philippines 2008

The Miss Island Philippines was held last Friday night at the SMX Convention Center beside Mall Of Asia in Pasay City. The show was hosted by Mr. Johnny Litton and reigning Miss Global City Philippines, Hemilyn Escudero. The two major winners of this pageant will represent the Philippines for Miss Tourism International 2008 in Malaysia and the other one will vie for Miss Bikini of The World in Caracas 2008, Venezuela.
HERE ARE THE RESULTS:
Miss IP-Tourism International – Karen May Manalo
Miss IP-Bikini of the world – AJ Surjani
1st runner up – Natalie Alvia
2nd runner up – Kristalyn Engle
3rd runner up – Athena Taccad
Reported from OPMB that Natalie Alviar won the majority of
special and corporate awards including the best in swimwear while
Kristalyn Engle was named best in long gown Both Karen and AJ recieved
P200,000 plus other valuable prizes from sponsors. The 23 official
candidates went home with 23,000 pesos in cash courtesy of PAGCOR.
Congratulations to the winners. You deserved it and make the country proud!!!
