After the super duper successful concert of Neyo, Maroon 5, My Chemical Romance, Mandy Moore, Duran Duran and many others in Manila, another singer – songwriter will invade the Philippines.
James Hillier Blount famously known as James Blunt – an English whose debut album, Back to Bedlam, and single releases — especially the number one hit “You’re Beautiful” — brought him to fame in 2005. His style is a mix of pop, rock and folk. Along with vocals, James Blunt performs a variety of instruments, including piano and guitar. He is signed to Linda Perry’s American label Custard Records. Blunt won two BRIT Awards and two Ivor Novello Awards, and was nominated for five Grammy Awards in 2006. Blunt subsequently released his second album, All the Lost Souls, in 2007; this album was certified gold within its first week of release.
James Blunt scheduled date in Manila is on May 19, 2008 at the Araneta Coliseum. The truth is….I fall in love about this lad whenever I’ve got to listen to his music. His first single “You’re Beautiful” became a smashing hit in the Philippines and always played on the radios. Aside from that one I personally love that “1973″ song…. I dont know…just love the melody, and the music video is cool too. Can’t wait to see him here in the Philippines, I’m sure he will love this place.
