Ang Seminar ni Sir Andy —– Bow

Last Thursday afternoon, me and my classmates have joined this seminar conducted by Sir Andy of IT department. The seminar talked about the IIS web server and the Visual Studio C3 programming language on how this works on a mobile phone. The meeting started at 1 in the afternoon and ends at 6, my classmate Jean (…Jean what happened) mahirap talaga pag di makasabay sa lecture ni Sir no!!!!! hehehehehe. Buti na lang at gwapo si Sir kung hindi . Next week, we will have a seminar again….again…yes. I wanna think my adviser for this….nakakatulong talaga. Sana next time about PHP naman.

Software Freedom Day!!!!!!

Last September 20, 2008 we celebrated the international event dubbed as Software Freedom Day. Here in the city of Tuna in the Philippines; General Santos City, the Notre Dame of Dadiangas University served as our venue for the said occasion. It was attended by over 1000 students, which I think so far the most attended Software Freedom Day in the history. Participating universities, colleges and school are Mindanao State University (the host), Notre Dame of Dadiangas College, Holy Trinity College of General Santos City, Polytechnic College, Ramon Magsaysay College, AMA, STI and SPED.
Miss Philippines- Earth 2008

Last Sunday night, the new Miss Philippines- Earth has been crowned. Karla Henry, a twenty- two years old who represented Cebu City was the winner of the pageant intended to protect our mother Earth. Miss Karla Henry who first joined Binibining Pilipinas last March but ended up nothing, instead the titles went to not so deserving ladies. 
She bested 40 ladies from other parts of the Philippines and Filipino communities abroad. Her father is from Canada and before she joined national pageants, she worked in a hotel in Cebu.

Vanessa Carlton: Live at the Ayala Malls

Vanessa Lee Carlton – an American soft rock/Piano pop singer, songwriter, and pianist best known for the Billboard top five, Grammy-nominated single “A Thousand Miles” from her debut album, Be Not Nobody which was released April 30, 2002, and certified platinum in the U.S.
Good news to us Pinoy fans ‘coz she’s goint here:
On May 9 (Friday), Vanessa will be performing at the TriNoma Mall in Quezon City at 7:00 PM. On the following day, May 10 (Saturday) at 7:00 PM, she will be serenading her Filipino fans and shoppers at Glorietta Activity Center in Makati while her last show here will be at the Alabang Town Center on May 11 (Sunday) at around 6:00 PM.
Her performances are absolutely free for all her fans but special passes will be given away to Ayala Malls shoppers for a chance to get good seats and see Vanessa up-close.
Every P 500 worth of purchase, accumulated or single receipt purchases will correspond to one ticket/pass. Tickets can be claimed at the concierge a day before the event.
